The town of Cullompton is less then 3 miles away with a Tesco, Aldi, independent high street, farmers market and sports centre.

Two fishing lakes are 5 minutes away and several golf course are close by.

The beaches of Sidmouth and Exmouth, in East Devon, are less than 30 minutes away and the coast of North and South Devon are less than an hour away.

Dartmoor, Exmoor and the Blackdown Hills, the historic city of Exeter and port of Topsham, the market towns of Tiverton and Honiton, National Trust houses and gardens such as Knighthayes Court and Killerton House are all just a short drive from the campsite

Take a peaceful trip on the Tiverton canal on the Horsedrawn Barge or visit the working wool museum at Coldharbour Mill with its steam driven looms. 

For fun family days out  there are Diggerland, Crealy Adventure Park and The Bear Trail  close by.

With the counties of Somerset, Dorset and Cornwall as neighbours there is so much to enjoy and explore.

The Bear Trail is Devon’s muddiest family assault course!

30 obstacles, unlimited mud! An award-winning mud-fest of an attraction, the Bear Trail is a family-friendly mud run obstacle course set on a 10-acre site.

Scramble over the bear nets, zip down the zip wire and tumble through the tunnels. Tackle the assault course together as many times as you like; this is a mighty mudder for all ages.
